Oaxaca traditions [Print version]

Oaxaca has very strong traditions and customs. They celebrate all the fiestas: social and religious ones.

The social calendar is very extensive due to the diversity of ethnic groups.

The most lively season in the city of Oaxaca is the last two weeks in July when they celebrate Guelaguetza.

If you plan to come to this or other celebration, it is neccesary to make reservatios two months in advance.
